How do the PureFoods meals stay fresh for 7 days in my refrigerator?
Our cutting-edge USDA-approved FRESH-LOCK process keeps your food fresh in the refrigerator for about 2 weeks. We do not add any preservatives to maintain this freshness. The food is NOT vacuum-packed or freeze-dried. It is NEVER frozen throughout the whole preparation, packaging and delivery process. Our meals are fresh to your door!
How do I heat the food?
Our meals are designed to be heated in a microwave for no more than 3 minutes. Each meal includes specific heating instructions on the container.
What if I go out of town? What if I go out to dinner?
Weekly customers need to provide 7 days notice. We will continue delivery when you get back in town. You may skip our dinner that evening and eat a balanced dinner on your own. You can have the meal you missed for dinner or lunch the following day if you wish.
What if I'm hungry?
In addition to controlling calories and sugar intake, PureFoods Fresh Start also controls portion size. So it is normal to feel a little hungry after the first 3-5 days of the program if you are used to eating larger portions. After the adjustment period, your cravings will subside.
What if I want PureFoods for only 5 days a week instead of 7 days a week?
The 7 day program is recommended to achieve your weight loss goals. We also have a 5 day per week option that is ideal for conveniently maintaining your weight, as well as helping you transition to a new way of healthy eating.
What is the cost?
The Standard Menu is $22.85/day – this includes everything. There is nothing else to buy.
However, we’d like you to think about it another way, compare what you are already spending to the cost of our program. The average working adult spends $25.95 on meals per day. The PureFoods Fresh Start Diet Plan is less and you get chef prepared fresh meals - and no shopping, cooking, or clean-up.

How do I renew the program?
Before the end of your cycle we will contact you and remind you your cycle is about to end. If you decide to continue, your credit card will be billed after we receive confirmation from you.
What do I do when I’m off the program?
You may use this program as a learning experience to continue into the future. We also have maintenance programs should you choose to continue with us.
